Remember !

Let us consider two natural numbers a and b , with b non-zero , so that a = b x c + r , with r smaller than b. a is the dividend, b is the divisor, c = quotient iar r = remainder.

So the dividend is equal to divisor multiplied by the quotient to which we add the remainder.
