Sorting the numbers means writing them in ascending or descending order. To write them in a certain order we need to compare the numbers between them do determine which number is larger or smaller.

Sorting natual numbers in ascending order means writing the sequence from the smallest to the largest number.

Sorting natual numbers in descending order means writing the sequence from the largest to the smallest number.

What does ascending mean?

Ascending means ordering the numbers from smallest to largest.

Ascending means placing the numbers from left to right on the number axis, the smallest on the left and the largest on the right.
