The addition of two fractions with the same denominator

Compute the sum of two fractions

6 68
+ =
65 65

Remember !

The fractions have the following form

Where A is the numerator and B is the denominator.

The sum of two or more fractions which have the same denominator is computed by adding up the numeratos and copying the denominator.

If we do not have the same denominator, we must bring the fractions to same denominator by multiplying together the two denominators.

Exemple !

2 3 5
+ =
7 7 7
