The sum of three consecutive natural numbers is 15 find out the 3 numbers. The numbers are noted with x, y, z.
We divide the sum by 3 to find out the first number
x = 15 : 3 => x = 5
In order to find the next two numbers we have to subtract and add one
y = 5 - 1 => y = 4
z = 5 +1 => z = 6
We verify to see if the exercise has been solved correctly
4 + 5 + 6 = 15
